Today Nat, Katie, Grandma and Grandpa Burt and I went to a fall festival in north York; it was a fundraiser for the preservation of farm land in York County. It was a nice time, a little bit windy, but the sun was out and it wasn't muddy so the wind was bearable. The highlight of the trip was a hayride through the corn fields with a stop for the kids to find hidden pumpkins in the dried corn stalks. Of course Katie found a pumpkin right away, she did have 4 adults helping her, but that's just playing smart, not cheating (in case you were wondering)! We only stayed for about an hour and then it was time to come home and take a nap and get out of the wind. Next year I think she will enjoy the hayride and the animals a bit more, but she always enjoys Grandma and Grandpa so a day with them is never wasted! I hope everyone else is having a fun fall!!!
