This past week we have been very busy, not like that's anything new. The picture above is Katie at her first tap lesson at the Jewish Community Center, as you can see she was very excited!
This past Saturday we went down to Brogue to celebrate Heritage Days at the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad. The building above is the old post office, train station, general store and telephone station. Pretty cool.
Grandma Burt helping Katie make a sock puppet.
This is the open electric train we rode, it was really cool, but I was glad that I had an almost 4 year old and not a 2 year old. (I was a little nervous about the little ones falling out!)
She liked the train!
Muddy Run Creek on a beautiful Autumn day.
Walking up the train track with her socks pulled up and her sock puppet on her arm.
Checking out a "big" train.
Trying to steer the train.
Fun, fun!
Last weekend we drove over to Downingtown to visit Aunt Christy and Uncle Jarrett. We went out to lunch with them and then they took us over to a local farm that makes their own ice cream. It was a cute little farm with some animals for Katie to check out and the ice cream was delicious!
Uncle Jarrett and Katie checking out some cows.
Nat and Katie.
They had a flavor called "Katie's Cookie Dough Chip", but she still went with the strawberry!
Waiting for her ice cream.
Yum.
She fell asleep on the way home listening to Madonna.....hilarious!
Katie's newest trick is falling out of bed and then falling back to sleep on the floor, I guess she's tired.
Katie and I also participated in a Mommy and Me cupcake decorating class at a new all-natural bakery in York. Katie and I both had fun decorating the cupcakes, even more fun eating them!
