It's only 1:30pm and I already have pictures to share, yes I always have my camera ready! This morning Katie slept in until 7:30am, which was AWESOME, so as a reward we took her in to market. Well, she really wasn't too thrilled to get up, put into a car seat and then into a stroller so we let her let her out of the stroller and she decided to take a walk downtown. The picture above and below are from the front stoop of a row home in downtown York. She kept knocking on the door, saying "knock-knock" and then "hello" and waiting for someone to come out. (The house was divided into apartments so the front door was just an entry door, no worries about actually waking someone!!)

This was the second, more hilarious part of the morning. Sheri and I decided to head out and get pedicures this morning, leaving the kids with their dad's. (YAY!!) After the pedicure Sheri wanted to run by Wal-Mart to see if this certain playhouse was in stock, she was getting it for Maddux's 1st birthday and we both had other things that we needed for our cake decorating class. (I'll update tomorrow on the cake class!) Luckily they did have the playhouse in stock, unluckily the box it came in was entirely to big to fit into her car. Of course we didn't realize this until after we had bought the playhouse and a ton of other things, so we were left to fend for ourselves in the fire lane on a crowded Saturday morning at Wal-Mart!!!

Our solution was to take the entire playhouse, piece by piece, out of the box and squeeze it into the car. Below is the picture of the stuffed car, oh yeah we had a car seat to work with too, it was nuts, but we did it!! Sometimes I'm glad I always have my camera with me, this moment was priceless. We were laughing about it the whole way home but there is a small sense of accomplishment in our Tetris like skills, everything had a place and no space was spared.
When in doubt, move it about!!!
