Last night Nat, Katie and I went downtown for the Governor's Awards for the Arts "Arts Block". They had a bunch of cute activities for the kids, including face painting (Katie didn't want it), and instrument petting zoo where kids could touch instrument used in the York Symphony Orchestra, and some other fun things that Katie did do. Above is the tent set up by Dreamwrights that kids could paint and accessorize with different shapes and papers, basically do art however they wanted to do it!
Painting, she also pasted the two hearts on the picture that are right under her paintbrush.
Katie's painting!
A different color and brush shape, she loves to paint!
Playing dress up!
Looking good!
After the fun outside we went inside to the White Rose bar and grill and had a great dinner, what a fun day!
We have been having a crazy heat wave here, when I took these pictures it was about 10am and already close to 90 degrees! The only thing to do in this heat is blow up the baby pool and jump on in!
Katie with blow up pool stars all around herself!
Hot, but cute!
Ready, set, JUMP!
Taking a snooze in the shade.
Ready for ballet.
