Fall Fun.

Unfortunately we have been very busy lately, and not in a good way, Katie has been sick. First she came down with a pretty nasty cold and as I write this she is getting over a stomach bug. Needless to say it hasn't been too exciting around here, but there have been some rays of sunshine like Lydia and Ade's Pumpkin decorating party. All of the kids brought their own pumpkins to decorate and as you can see Katie and Lia, above, had a lot of fun painting! (even if Katie was feeling a little devilish!!)
Some of the other kids painting, actually you can see Julia is painting Lydia's pumpkin in this picture and she isn't too thrilled about it!
Katie's artwork.
Cute little devil.
Maddux was so jealous of Tia's horns that he painted his own horns, thank you very much.
Bobbing for apples.
This was hilarious and cute, a bunch of 3 year olds never disappoints in that capacity!
Lydia, Ade and Maddux went all in together.
So cute.
After soaking themselves bobbing for apples it was time to hunt for candy.
Katie decided to give Nathan a little ride before we left, as you can see he was happy with the service!
A little while later we went over to Grammy and Pop's house to help decorate some more pumpkins, Katie was surprisingly not as squeamish with the inside of the pumpkins, which surprised me.
Painting her pumpkin pink, purple and black.
Tripp painting himself blue.
Eventually he was just decorating himself!
Then the kids helped Grammy make some special pumpkin cookies.
(This is strictly for blackmailing him when he's 6'10" and playing in the NFL....I'm sure someone will pay big money for this some day!)
Yesterday marked the return of Romp and Roll at the local roller skating rink. It's such a great program for toddlers, they can ride their bikes, scooters and big wheels on a flat, smooth surface without worrying about running anyone over. The program runs for about 2 hours but she always wears out after about 45 minutes!
Woo-hoo!
