Today we had a shower here at the house for Heather, my good friend and neighbor. This is baby number 2 for Heather and her husband but this time she's having a little girl, I'm sure you have all their son Chase pop up from time to time on here, so we just had to have another little party!! Outside!!

Today we had another nice day so it was OUTSIDE after nap. Katie's new hobby is kicking a soccer ball and I have to admit that I'm pretty impressed by her coordination, that's saying a lot since she shares my genes and I have close to no hand/eye coordination. That being said, she will kick the ball the width of the back yard and then turn around and head back, she really, really likes soccer!!

Oh and she is wearing one of my necklaces, I tried to take it off of her before we went outside but she wouldn't let me.........maybe that's where her magical soccer powers come from?

She also mowed the lawn for us. She's a big help!!

Then it was on to the sand box and her newest discovery, throwing all of the sand out of the box............fun, fun!!

She's so happy to finally be outside!

Katie and her buddy Evy, she lives across the street from us and Katie loves to play with her any chance she gets. Of course it also helps that Evy is so sweet and patient with Katie, I love this neighborhood!

Big Day!!

Today we went for Katie's preschool visit and did she ever have fun! She loved the classroom and her new teacher, in fact she loved it so much she only cried when we had to leave! As a treat I decided to take her to the Disney Store and let her pick up a stuffed "Mater" from the movie CARS. Of course we picked up a few more items that the Easter Bunny might bring her in on Easter morning......I'm worse than she is!

Just Cool!

I got Katie some new shades yesterday and thought she looked pretty cool, just had to pass it along!

Today Sheri and I decided to load up the kids and head over to Lancaster to "Build a Bear" so Katie and Maddux could put together their own stuffed animals! I think Katie got the idea a little more than Maddux but to say that either of them even had a clue as to what was going on would be a stretch. In all fairness they were both a little scared of the machine that blew the stuffing into their animals but Katie did pick out a heart for her frog and gave it a kiss before the attendant closed up the stitching on him. Here are some of the pictures I took, all in all I think the kids both enjoyed themselves!!

Today Katie threw on one of my necklaces, her art smock and decided to start vacuuming the house. Enjoy the pictures!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!! It's been a crazy week here, I had Tripp Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday so to thank Katie for being semi-good and to celebrate Valentine's Day we decided to head out for dinner at Fuddruckers. As you can see in this first picture she is holding a tomato slice in her hand, while we were standing around waiting for our buzzer to go off (to signify that our food was up) Katie saw people putting tomatoes on their burgers and had to have one. In the next few pictures you can see how it went!!

After dinner we went over to Grandma Lucia's house, Katie loves Grandma's house because Grandma has so many cool things that we don't have, like a rocking chair!

Grandma also has a giant remote control that Katie likes to cover with a plastic floor mat (we have no idea why) and try to touch the buttons. She does this every Saturday night and thinks it's hilarious every time!! Yes she's a NUT!

Her two favorite things at Grandma's house are her two jewelry boxes in the living room, this one contains Lira and Italian coins the other is a music box that she just likes to listen to. It's always a new adventure every time, but it's always fun!
