Having fun...

Today Nat decided to put in a little extra time at work so Katie and I decided to surprise Grammy at work. We only stayed at the Junior High for a little bit, basically long enough to take a basketball from Grammy's office, then we were off to pick out some pumpkins. Of course, as you can see, the pumpkins weren't the only attraction!! We selected a few winners and then went back to my parents house, I mean Grammy and Pop's house, for a little coloring, dinner and Mickey Mouse. Not a bad day!!

Yesterday Katie ate her first meal entirely with a fork, cheese tortellini and meatballs, so today I thought I would let her at some applesauce.......it didn't go as well!!

Sunday pt.2

So somebody took a 3 hour nap this afternoon and was all sorts of fired up when she woke up!! Here are a few pictures of our shenanigans....

Our Sunday.....

It's Sunday and as far as Sunday's go, today has been a good one. We woke up late, after 7am, made some muffins for breakfast and went for a walk. Of course the weather, the weather ugh, has been sunny one minute and rainy the next so we have been inside most of the day. We did get a little piano concert, I'll try to post a video later, and we counted apples, somehow they are all green, so the day hasn't been a complete waste. Enjoy the pictures!!

Today Katie and I were playing around with the cameras, me with the new one and she with the old one. She calls the camera "cheese" and she kept asking me to "try it", so I thought I would let her play with the old one while I took pictures with the new one, unfortunately my plan backfired because now all of the "cheese's" are hers. Oops....

Liz's Baby Shower

Another day, another party!

Today was Liz's baby shower, it was held at her mother-in-laws home, and it was wonderful! Of course I was in charge of recording gifts as she opened them so I didn't get to take too many pictures, but I think we have all been to enough baby showers to get the general idea of what went on. Above is the picture of her cake and trust me when I say it was as good as it looks, there is a reason why we always order cakes from the same lady, they are incredible and there is always enough to take home!

Other than Nat's social faux pas it was a great day, Liz got everything she needs and spending time with family and friends is always a blast!

Happy 1st Birthday Maddux!!!!

As you can tell September is a very popular birthday month, we have celebrated my brother-in-law Doug's 30th, Nat's mother's birthday, Chase's 1st and now it was Maddux's turn. (We still have a few more birthday's down the pike!!!) With all of the kids being sick this past week Sheri wasn't sure this party was ever going to happen, but not only did the kids all rally for the bash but the weather was just about as perfect as could be. We had such a great time, you can tell by the tons of pictures, and Maddux seemed to enjoy all of his new toys, books and clothes! Katie and Natalie in the bounce house. (This was the hit of the party for Katie, she basically ignored Maddux!)
