Black Friday Shopping!!

In case you want to see the outcome of my shopping experience yesterday, check out my sister's blog: http://www.the-barton-family.blogspot.com/

Thanksgiving

Two days ago we packed up and headed over to Downingtown, Pa. (between Lancaster and Philadelphia) to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Aunt Christy and Uncle Jarrett. Katie had a lot of fun playing Wii with everybody, as you will see later, but first we had to finish our letter to Santa and take it to the big red mailbox at Macy's. I wish I would have remembered to take my camera to Macy's when she mailed it because it was so cute to see how excited she was, but of course with too many things going on right now, I forgot it! If you click on the actual picture you can read the letter a little more clearly, she dictated the list of presents to me and we are still somewhat confused as to what "Bunny games" are, but we are confident that Santa will figure it out!
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving at Christy and Jarrett's. As you can see they had a packed house and you can just make out Jim carving the turkey on the kitchen island.
Katie and Grandpa spend a lot of time lining up the ball on the foosball table so Katie could knock it in!
The next batch of pictures are of Katie and everybody else playing Toy Story Mania on Wii, man does she love playing this game!
I mean she really, really likes to play!
To her this also counts as playing....hehe.
She snuggled right into Uncle Jarrett to play.
Tell me they aren't related...........I recognize that "concentration" face on Katie.
Shake it, shake it, shake it!!

Tripp's 1st Birthday!

Okay so these pictures are about a week overdue, but somewhere between last Sunday and today I guess I just plain forgot to upload them onto the blog. Bad Aunt Suzi! Anyhow, here he is our sweet little (age wise at least) boy!
His sweet new Hokie trike!
Tripp amongst his presents, there were only 8 of us at his party and look at all of the gifts!
A cute hat that Mimi made!
Katie taking a picture of Pop taking video of Tripp.
The birthday boy reaching for his cake.....yummy!
First bite, love that sugar!
Happy Trippy!
Getting a little tired.
Sweet, messy Tripp!! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!

Just being Katie.

I just wanted to put this picture on here because Katie was being so feisty this morning that I almost forget how cute she was! Today was show and tell at school and she was bringing in her Lightning McQueen car to show her friends, she wanted me to take a "cheese" of her with her car and as soon as I got the camera out she struck this pose for me, what a ham!

Having Fun!

Sorry I have been absent this week, it's been busy and boring.....I like it! Here is a picture of Katie's newest love, Toy Story Mania on Wii. I know it's hard to believe but she actually scores points, if you look really hard at the picture you can see her rings, in pink; Nat is in blue.

Reading one of her new books.
Reading to Bessie.
Very Cute!

Happy 3rd Birthday Katie!

Today was Katie's 3rd birthday party and man was it FUN!! As you can see by the picture above the theme of the party was all things CARS, from the Disney movie that is her current favorite! We had a great time playing with all of her friends and family and opening all of the PRESENTS!
The presents and her birthday banner.
In the bounce house with Tripp and Maddux.
Maddux giving Tripp a nice big hug!! Sure Tripp was a little confused, but he liked it.
Sheri had the bright idea to bring the kids picnic table inside and as you can see they all wanted to sit there.
Katie's Cars cake.
Blowing out the candles.
YAY so much fun.
The other birthday baby, Tripp turned 1 yesterday and tomorrow we will be celebrating his birthday.
Aunt Izzie helping Katie open up her presents, this one is a storage case for all of her cars.
Aunt Izzie excited that Aunt Christy got Katie a copy of School House Rocks.
Aunt Izzie trying on Katie's new hat.
Another cool present.
Maddux decided to wear the bows, he's awesome!
Eating some birthday cake.
YUMMY!
After napping off some of the birthday cake we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some dinner. Above is Uncle Jarrett hiding his eyes while Katie went to hide, she is very in to playing hide and go seek right now.
She was found, she usually either yells out "here I am" or just hides in the same place over and over. We are still getting the hang of it!

Playing a game with Grandma.
How about the perfect way to end the day, hanging out with baby Braelyn!! Adorable!

Halloween!!

Happy Halloween, again! Sorry that these pictures are out of order, Nat installed Windows 7 on my computer and it's doing some strange things with my pictures. Anyhow, we had some yucky weather on Halloween so our pictures are not that great, we were trying to get the kids pictures when it started to rain like crazy. Fortunately, the rain cleared up in time for some good trick-or-treating and the evening wasn't a total loss!
Our favorite monkey man, Tripp!!
Soaking wet Pebbles and Bam Bam, giving each other a little squeeze.
This has to be one of my all time favorites, not because of the commitment to the theme by Scott and Sheri, but because Maddux decided to really, really play the part of Bam Bam and is seconds away from knocking Katie in the head with his club!
Before the rain, how cute!! (Can you believe I even found bones for her hair!)
