Leaders Heights Park

Today Sheri, Scott and I took the kids to the Leaders Heights Elementary School playground. What a beautiful morning, and to top it all off the kids really had fun, together!

Here are a few pictures of the kids from the past few days. We were fortunate to get a phone call from Karen on Friday saying that she was making an impromptu visit to York, yay, so we made a little play date and got to hang out with some friends.

Dutch Wonderland

Today Nat and I took Katie to Dutch Wonderland, a great little kids amusement park in Lancaster, Pa. We had originally planned on going tomorrow but the forecast was rain, rain and more rain, so we opted to go today. The weather really couldn't have been better but if one thing is up the other is down and Katie really didn't have too much fun for the first hour we were there. I don't think she really understood the whole concept of "rides" and she absolutely would not go on anything without one of us! To top it all off I took about five pictures and my camera battery died, talk about being prepared!!, so luckily Nat's iPhone came in handy and we were able to salvage a few more pictures from our trip. Enjoy!

The love fest continues with the Merry-go-round!! She was the only child that was crying, Nat actually took her off of the horse and put her in a bench seat to calm her down.

Katie and I on the Sky Ride, she really loved being up high and looking down at everything. Nat and I both took her on this ride, she's actually waving at Nat in this picture, she was also blowing him kisses!

Her first ride without me or Nat, it was so cute and she loved it, it would pull you in a straight line and then whip you around the corner......she is getting whipped around in the picture, can you tell?

Katie's first roller coaster ride, can you believe that!? Her two favorite rides were the roller coaster and the tilt-a-whirl, guess we made ourselves a little danger girl!! (Nat is wearing the white hat and Katie's white hair bow is right on his arm, she's just barely in the picture!!)

Grandma and Grandpa's House......and more pool!

Yesterday afternoon, after nap time, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play and eat some burgers and dogs, yum! Katie really enjoyed the swing, big shocker, and running playing with everybody!

It's Pool Time!!!

Today was the official opening day of the pool at the Country Club. This year we are switching from Regents Glen Country Club to the Country Club of York, not that it matters that much, but as you will see Aunt Izzie and Tripp are members at CCY, along with Katie's favorite big girl friend Evy, so the switch was a pretty easy decision!
