Today we had an unexpected day of coloring. I would blame it primarily on the cold weather that kept us inside most of the morning, but Katie has shown a lot more interest, recently, in coloring of all kinds. I would recommend the easel that Grandma and Grandpa Burt got Katie for her birthday, it's made by Melissa and Doug, and she really is making some masterpieces on it!
Not overly happy that I wanted to interrupt her coloring with a picture.
After nap we did get outside for some sidewalk chalk drawing.
Again, not wanting to be bothered by my camera.
Katie on the chalk board side of the easel, I asked her what she was drawing and she said "a clubhouse". I am taking a big leap here and assuming that she meant Mickey Mouse's clubhouse!!
