A Busy Sunday!!

Today was the Maryland Komen Race for The Cure. It was a beautiful morning to walk, the sun was out in full force and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. As you can see there were thousands of mothers, daughters, husbands, friends, thousands of every body's out to walk this morning and the sight was both inspiring and sad. Some day I would love to be able to tell my daughter that she was part of a fight for a disease that she has never heard of!
The view from behind us, stretching back to the starting line.
My best gal in her pink finery!
Nat, Katie and my Mom....yes it was a bit cold, but my mother has issues!
After we got home from our 1 mile walk we had a big play date; Karen and Addison, Michelle, Makenzie and Grayson, Heather and Chase and Nat, Katie and I! The kids were all really good, Katie had some issues at first with sharing but as soon as Makenzie (above) showed up and had a big kid to play with and things were fine again. Oh and she is still in her pj's and it's 2:30pm...it's just that kind of day!!
Chase, posing.
Grayson with Dora's growing hair wrapped around his neck, he looked like he was rocking some crazy pony tail!
Heather holding Addison and Chase.
Addison's big toothy grin!
