Fun times!

Two days ago I got to babysit my nephew, Tripp, and he and Katie really enjoyed playing with the swing set.
Katie playing with her princess backpack.
This is the evolution of the two of them posing for pictures, it's really funny when you put them all next to each other!
Tripp looks like he's trying very hard to get away from Katie.
Both smiling and happy.
Tripp fighting Katie again to get her hand off of his neck.
Then of course you get the silly picture!
The other day at Target I decided to get a Slip n' Slide for Katie, thinking she would love sliding around the yard. Well, silly me, I never gave it much of a thought that the kids would have no idea what to do with one?! Leave it to Aunt Izzie to show the kids how to do it, while fully clothed! Unfortunately the kids didn't retain any of the demonstration information and basically used it as a runway!
Sheri giving Maddux a good shove down the slide.
Katie taking a run on the slide.
And falling to her knees and sliding into the end.
Katie's new favorite thing is to try posing for pictures, here are two attempts from the other morning. (She has no idea what a model is, and I'm trying to keep it that way!!)
Smiley!
About ten days ago we marked the end of Grandma Burt's last day of work EVER, by decorating her house with balloons, a "Happy Retirement" banner and a yard sign that said "Congrats Grandma". She loved it!
Some awesome jumps from the pool deck.
Somehow this didn't end as a belly flop?!
Izzie giving her a throw, Grammy looks a little worried.
Katie new favorite thing to do, stand on Izzie's shoulders.
Last week was "Princess Day" at the Playhouse Cafe in Lemoyne. I love that place, they have playrooms for the kids, full service lunch and chat areas for us moms to sit and relax. Every day of the week is a themed day and they offer special things for the kids, of course we had to go to Princess day since they were painting nails!!
Getting her toes done.
So happy.
Pink finger nails and sparkle blue paint for her toes, beautiful!
