Hershey Gardens

Today was a slow, cloudy day so I made the decision to take Katie over to the Hershey Gardens to see not only the flowers, but also the Butterfly House within the gardens. Well let me tell you, if you live in the Central Pennsylvania area and have children over the age of 2 this is a MUST visit destination! I'm glad I waited until she was this age to go because there is a lot of "no touching" areas and things, but they also have a very cute Children's Garden with activities and play area's like in the picture above.
Katie giving a "high five" to a cow in the Children's Garden.
Sitting on a piggy, she saw another kid doing this so we had to try before we left!
Katie hopping on tiles that chimed different notes as you stepped on them, of course Katie was to light to depress the tiles far enough to make a noise when she walked, so she had to really jump!
Katie checking out a butterfly.
Getting up close and personal.
No matter how many times you say "don't touch".........
The butterfly she tried to grab!
Just thought this was cute.
She thought these butterfly benches were awesome, they were scattered around the childrens garden area.
Walking around the prezel maze, the maze that was shaped like a pretzel, very cute.
Waving to the train as it went by.
Hanging out on a bench underneath a huge tree, she liked sitting on all of the benches in the gardens.
Another bench by another tree.
Barefoot and walking in the gardens.
Another bench in the rose gardens, I wish I could have bottled the air in that section!
Taking an interest in the yellow roses, just like her great-Grandma George.
