Today I took Katie to the mall to meet Santa Claus and man am I glad we beat the holiday rush! Sure she looks normal in the picture, what you don't see is the distraught little face staring at me as if to say, "Mommy, why are you making this strange, crazy looking man hold me?". Thank goodness they had this cloth book on hand that I made Santa read to Katie, yes I made him!! At least her little tear filled eyes were looking at the book and not piercing my heart.
Alright, I might be
exaggerating, but she did cry a lot and was not to happy with her first encounter with Santa.
